Box Office Manager
Theater is a great way to bring community together. It gives us the opportunity to look at life in many different situations and lessons can always be learned.
I have been working with CenterPoint people 17 years and counting. I was invited to get involved at Rodgers Memorial Theatre in 2003 where I learned to stage manage. Though it was really just a “hobby” I was hooked when I found myself surrounded by an amazing group of dedicated individuals who quickly became a second family. I stage managed there for 8 years. In 2011 the opportunity to be box office manager became available at CenterPoint and I have been here ever since! I loved working with the cast and crew while stage managing and now enjoy interacting with our patrons and seeing how much they love what we do here.
Fiddler on the Roof will always be a favorite because I played Yente back in High School. Other than that, it depends on the moment! I use to drive my mother crazy by memorizing whole sound tracks (i.e. Camelot, The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins) and then singing incessantly. I love cooking, sewing, playing games with my children and grandchildren and traveling when I get the chance.
