House Manager/Volunteer Coordinator

“One act of kindness could change a person’s outlook on life forever.” Les Miserables
CPT is my home away from home; it is definitely my HAPPY place! I’ve lived in Centerville 60 years… (give or take a few for schooling and a mission) so I LOVE the people that come here that I get to see and wow do I give lots of hugs! I started getting involved over at Rodgers Memorial Theater when my husband, Brian, was acting. I helped with ticketing, ushering and greeting. When CenterPoint opened, I became the house manager and volunteer coordinator, and the rest is history! I’ve been at CenterPoint since we opened our doors! That’s a long run! And so much JOY!

I don’t have a favorite project particularly; I just love it when I’m fully staffed and I have all of my Ushers and Greeters at a show. Our volunteers are such a blessing to CPT. We couldn’t do what we do without them! My favorite musicals/plays are: Les Miserables, Come from away, Dear Evan Hansen. My favorite plays that we’ve done at CPT: The Foreigner, Bright Star, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, and loads more, but mostly anything my husband has been in!

Brian and I love being at CenterPoint together. We’ve spent thousands of hours working on shows and events. We are so grateful to our children and their spouses who have always been willing to help build, paint and take down sets, as well as usher and assist with the yearly Gala, Hats Off, and the Fairytale Festival. As a family, we love spending time at the theater, camping in Utah’s beautiful mountains and playing games together.
