Costume Shop Manager
“I’ve heard it said that people come into our lives for a reason, bringing something we must learn, and we are led to those who help us most to grow.” Wicked
Community theater enhances all of our lives in immeasurable ways whether as a patron or as a performer. I became involved because my daughter loved to perform and she needed costumes. I was asked to be the costume designer at CPT in 2010 for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. I have been a costume designer here since then. In 2019 I was asked to be the Costume Shop Supervisor. Prior to 2010 I was a stitcher for Rodgers Memorial Theatre and designed costumes for several children and teen shows. I have also been a costume designer for Bountiful Performing Arts, local schools and Strillogy Productions.
I have enjoyed every show that I have done. There is so much to be learned from each director, cast member, time period and costume requirements. My husband has been very supportive of my love of fabric and my need to design. When I’m not sewing, I love to garden, read, travel and spend time with my husband, children and 3 grandchildren.
