The theater is a place that brings together so many different individuals in our community. The performing arts inspire and enriches our lives. I was on the Centerville City Council when the idea of building CenterPoint was first proposed by the leaders of Rodgers Memorial Theater. Later, as Mayor, it was very rewarding to watch our community support and embrace the performing arts. CenterPoint makes our community a better place by giving youth and adults the opportunity to enjoy live theater. I was born in London and raised in Centerville. After living away for a few years, we chose to return to Davis County to raise our children. It is fulfilling to see my children, friends, and neighbors grow and share their talents through the performing arts.
