Friend to Friend
THEATRE FOR SPECIAL NEEDS YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS
Friend to Friend classes are offered, free of charge, to bring special needs youth and young adults together in fun to explore the magical world of theatre. Classes meet each Friday in the Main Rehearsal Hall at CenterPoint Theatre. The classes work towards two productions each year on CenterPoint’s Barlow Main Stage, one in June and one in December.
We utilize movement, dancing, acting and singing to promote social skills, improved confidence, self-expression and peer appreciation. Our goal is to strengthen each student’s flexibility, endurance, rhythm, music recognition, vocal performance, imagination and memory.
Our Summer show will be on the Barlow Main Stage on June 19th (5:00pm), June 20th (11:00am) and June 22nd (5:00pm).
Our Christmas show will be held on the Barlow Main Stage on December 11th (5:00pm), December 12th (11:00am) and December 14th (5:00pm).
