- Ticket exchanges must be made in person at the Box Office at least one business day prior to the performance. Exchanged tickets must be surrendered at that time. We cannot accommodate late changes. There will be a $5 exchange fee per ticket.

are $5 per ticket. - Reserved seating will be held until curtain after which alternate seating will be used.

The man woke up every morning and chose brilliance. Here’s a few bangers:

“We know what we are, but know not what we may be.”
“Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we oft might win by fearing the attempt.”
And, related to the show at hand, this one, maybe the best one – “This above all; to thine own self be true.”
TO THINE OWN SELF BE TRUE
Something Rotten is ridiculous. It’s smart. It’s irreverent. It’s a send-up and a love letter to Broadway. It’s full of the best folks and supported by the best crew and team around. It’s a privilege to work on something that’s so full of joy.
I hope you’ll have a great time here as you forget your cares for a couple of hours and get lost in the story of how one guy learned what I hope everybody learns from their time with Something Rotten – the answer is, always always always, to thine own self be true.

SYNOPSIS
In the streets of Elizabethan England, William Shakespeare is a Renaissance rock star while playwright siblings Nick and Nigel Bottom are stuck in his shadow. The two brothers set out to write a hit play, but find it hard to break through and compete with the famed Will Shakespeare, known as “The Bard”. The brothers enlist the help of a soothsayer who predicts that the future of theatre involves singing and dancing. Armed with this insider information, they set out to write the world’s first musical. Hilarity ensues as this satirical spectacle pokes fun at everything that audiences adore about a Broadway musical.

She is the Director of the CPT Academy Middles and has been the Artistic Director for Kaysville City Summer Musical for the past 25 years. She also choreographs for Davis High’s Musical Theater. Jessica Rampton received a BA from USU in Choral Ed. Credits performing/directing/teaching include Utah Festival Opera, Lagoon, Pickleville Playhouse, Music Theatre West, Sun Valley Carolers, LDS Conference Center, Kaysville City (16yrs), CentreStage Theatre, CenterPoint Academy, and Davis High. She also has been on faculty/staff at UofU Dept of Theatre.
Bailee DeYoung
Choreography
Bailee is delighted to choreograph at CPT again this year. Bailee has over 10 years of formal dance training. She earned her BA in Musical Theatre from WSU in 2014. Bailee currently enjoys working in the Utah theatre community as a choreographer and performer. Bailee would like to thank her husband and boys at home for their love and support.
Derek Walden
Technical Director
Derek oversees the technical operations for all of the shows we do, including the Mainstage, Academy, Leishman, and Rental Events. He lives by the motto, “I don’t have to have a muggle job, because I get to be here and make magic every day.” All the love to Jason.
Truxton Moulton
Assistant Technical Director/Set Designer/Shop Foreman
Truxton is excited to build for another season at CenterPoint and to be calling the shots by designing the set. Truxton was the ATD at Tuacahn for 8 years, notably working on The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Prince of Egypt, and The Little Mermaid. He couldn’t have accomplished this without the support of his loving wife, Megan, and his seven kids.

Ashley has stage-managed and designed many shows here at CPT. Her latest work has been seen in Elf the Musical, Big Fish, Cinderella, and A Christmas Story. She looks forward to many shows to come. “Special Thanks to Ian and My Family for their love and support.”

Savannah is very excited to work on this amazing show with such a fantastic production team. CenterPoint has been Jordan’s second home since it opened when he was 15 years old. The list of shows he has been involved with here is long but you may have recently seen his work on The Play That Goes Wrong, Big Fish, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Cynthia Klumpp
Scenic Charge Artist
42nd Street marks Cynthia’s 47th show on the Barlow Main Stage as well as 19 shows in the Leishman Performance Hall and is already working on her 60th overall show here at CPT. Cynthia served as the Scenic Charge Artist for Disney Channel’s High School Musical – The Series Season 2. For 8 seasons, Cynthia served as the Scenic Charge Artist at Tuacahn Amphitheatre producing scenic artwork for 26 productions.

Michelle has been involved in Utah theater for five decades as an actress, director, props master, scenic designer/painter, producer, and costumer. This is her first opportunity to work on a production staff at CPT and she is pleased to be part of such a talented and well-managed team.
